Excel Paris Matte Lip Creams Review and Swatches

Hello honeylicious!

I made a video on this review,
you can either watch it or read it below :)

Just recently,
i saw a photo of a good friend who also loves make-up like I do,
and what caught my attention on her picture was her lips~

Meet my pretty friend, Kath.

The color is so vibrant and it really looks pretty on her.
So cut the long story short, i facebooked her to ask about which product she used and she told me that is was the Exel Matte Lip Creams!

So i hurriedly buy 3 shades, eager to try them out.
I got the 501, 509 and 510!

Let's see an individual look of each shade:

501 (shocking pink)

509 (pinky orange)

 510 (peach orange)
* i never noticed the sticker at the bottom got lost just until now!

Let's see some swatches:

501, 509 , 510 accordingly~
w/o camera flash, under natural light

with camera flash

some more swatches!

So now to my review of the product,
but before anything else, let me just say that to a very cheap-priced product,
good quality is not really that of an assurance
and to just keep our expectations low.

I was able to try this products several times and everything written is based from personal experience.

Pros:
cheap/very affordable (php 30 to 100)
very long lasting
non-smudging
beautiful and vibrant shades
looks good and catchy on photos
very pigmented

Cons:
no list the ingredients listed
dries up the lips (chappy)
if applied too much, looks like paint
obviously does not come from Germany
and my friend said that it has possibilities of containing lead as a component in making the product

Remedies:
for dried up lips, just apply lip balm/petroleum jelly
if having trouble in removing, use make-up remover
or apply petroleum jelly to avoid irritation

Rate out of five: 2
Will i buy it again? NO!

Thank you for stoping by!

mwah!

Bye everyone!
