Dulcet Skin Tomanade Soap Review

Just recently, I got the opportunity to try one of Dulcet Skin's long line of soap collection~ the Tomanade Soap. I have to be really honest that I was very hesitant to try a new brand of soap but since I was given this, I might as well try it out rather than let it sit in my cabinet. I have been using this soap for more than a week already and have consumed 1/3 of it as I usually divide a whole soap into 3 parts and so far, I have gathered up my thoughts about this product and I would like to share my thoughts with you. Let's first get to know the product.

What it claims:
Deeply cleanse and tightens the pores,
cures acne while giving the skin gentle exfoliation.
Gives the skin a rosy cheek glow.

Description:
(As written on the soap packaging)
The tonic benefits of tomato deeply cleanse and tighten the pores.
Alpha-hydroxy acids found in tomato helps get rid of pimples and acne
through it's gentle exfoliating action and this also results in getting your cheeks a rosy hue
and your body a fair glow.

Ingredients:
Main ingredient is tomato. It also contains calamansi, glycolic acid and kojic.

Products Specifications:
net wt.: 150grams
price: php175
manufactured in the Philippines

Pros:
The first thing I noticed was its scent. It smells refreshing.
It does not cause my skin to micro peel (so far).
It cleanses deeply, leaving the skin soft, smooth and refreshed.
It doesn't have a "sting" feeling after use.
It keeps my very oily skin dry for an hour.
It is recommendable for sensitive skin types.
Can be used for the body as well.

Cons:
It contains small seeds which I find rough on the skin when I rub the soap directly on the skin. I thought the seeds were meant for exfoliating purposes, but it doesn't do much really.
It is also a bit expensive but it's said to have been made of high-quality ingredients.
It claims to give the skin a rosy glow but I have not observed that as well.

Rating:
Will I buy it again? Definitely. I'd give the product an 8-9 out of 10.

This is my first soap made out of tomato and I really like it due to the known benefits of tomato to the skin. I will constantly use the soap until it's consumed and will update this blog if I had observed any more changes to my skin. I'd recommend for you to try it as well, and for those who have tried, let me know your thoughts.

P.S. I will upload photos of myself soon :)
