Today i will share my current skin care routine

using my all time favorite and trusted skin care product, 

the KEVLO Facial Maintenance Set.

Set contains:

Face Pink Toner

Clarifying Lotion

Ultimate Whitening Soap

Exfoliating Cream

Ideal Night Cream

Collagen Placenta with SPF 70

What it claims:

Safe for daily use after consuming the Facial Starter Set, its gentle formula maintains the pinkish glow of your face and keeps your skin blemish-free.

Instructions:

MORNING:

-Wash the face and neck with with Ultimate Whitening Soap.

-Apply Pink Toner using cotton on your face and neck.

-Protect your face against UV Rays by applying Collagen Placenta w/ SPF70.

EVENING:

-Wash the face and neck with Ultimate Whitening Soap.

- Apply Pink Toner.

- Apply Clarifying Lotion using facial cotton, 1 stroke only, no repetition.

-Put liberal amount of Exfoliating Cream. Do not rinse.

-After 2 minutes, apply generous amount of Ideal Night Cream evenly on your face and neck.

Let it stay overnight. 

My Actual Experience:

I can attest that these products has lighter formulation compared to the Kevlo Starter Set because I didn't anymore experience any irritation. 

I find my skin healthy and supple every morning.

With regards to the scars, it continued to lighten up due to the hep of the Exfoliating Cream and finally, thankfully, it had been erased.

The effect on my skin is amazing and i'm not only saying this because i'm selling the product,

i'm basing it on my actual experience, actual results with the product.

I am using the Kevlo Prime Soap in exchange of the Kevlo Ultimate Soap.

I started using the Prime Soap right after i consumed 2 Ultimate Whitening Soaps.

I  also don't apply too much cream on my face, just a pinch is enough (just to save the creams and my money) and I massage it all over my face before I sleep at night.

My skin had never been better!

Today i'm going to reveal to you my secret to having a youthful, clear and healthy skin!
I'm sure you can tell by the title which skin care products i am referring to.

Before, my skin (i'm referring to my face) had a lot of pimples and scars.
It was not really the worst type but it was
enough to make me so conscious about myself, especially on the way i look which pulled down my confidence level. 

This photo had a filter so the scars are not so visible,

but you can see it evident on my cheek and chin area.

Thankfully, i got a recommendation from a friend to try the Kevlo Facial Starter Set.
My friend was really flawless, at first i though she used Glutathione Injections for her skin, but no, she didn't. She only used Kevlo products.
To cut the story short, i did buy my first Kevlo Starter set which includes the following:

1 Ultimate Whitening Soap

1 Face Pink Toner

1 Ultimate Clarifying Lotion

1 Hydrocort Cream

1 Ultimate Night Cream

1 Collagen Placenta w/ SPF 70

Instructions:

MORNING:
- Wash the face and neck with Ultimate Whitening Soap.-Apply Pink Toner using cotton on your face and neck.- Protect your face against UV Rays by applying Collagen Placenta w/ SPF 70


EVENING:
-Wash the face and neck with Ultimate Whitening Soap.
- Apply Face Pink Toner- Apply Ultimate Night Cream evenly on your face and neck


Note:
When skin starts to peel off, apply Hydrocort Cream before using Ultimate Night Cream in the evening and before using Collagen Placenta w/ SPF 70 in the morning.
I did exactly what it said,i followed the instructions faithfully.

WHAT TO EXPECT
In a matter of 1 week, your skin may:
become dry
slightly turn pink
exfoliate
be sensitive
look worse, darken
experience itchiness
sting, peel off, slightly burned
have pimples, black heads, white heads break off


My Actual Experience:
During my first week, i indeed experienced my skin becoming dry and had massive peeling once or twice as i remember. After that, my skin still peeled off, but it was not anymore that noticeable.
I also noticed my skin looking dark that it normally is, but it said it's an expected outcome so i didn't worry that much. I din't break out a lot, so that was really a good thing for me but i did feel the sting and felt like my skin was slightly irritated since it hurt a little. 


WHAT TO EXPECT
After 2 to 3 weeks,
the skin will develop tolerance to the treatment;
therefore, there is less reaction.
skin is now improving and looking good
correction of surface problem is now apparent
some wrinkle, shallow scars, damages are still present but 
will continue to diminish as treatment progresses


My Actual Experience:
During the 2nd to the 3rd week, i did notice a change in my skin. Not that big though cause i still had my pimples (but now less and have dried up already) and scars were still present,
but that was totally okay with me because i understand that the scars can't really be magically erased, and so i still continued until the product was consumed.

After the set was consumed, approximately a month after i used the Facial Starter Set,

i notice my friends were noticing my face becoming clearer. They said that my pimples had disappeared and the scars were a little faded. My skin had cleared out.

My other friends who were also using the product told me that they felt their skin to be oily when they used the Collagen Placenta w/ SPF 70 in the morning but I can't really confirm that since i have an oily skin type.

Whether i use the Collagen or not, my skin still turns out oily at the end of the day. 

The use of the product (since it's a set of products) really takes time and effort.

And though it is a big SAVE compared to seeing a dermatologist, i still could say it's a little expensive, but was worth it.

1. Are you named after anyone?

Yes, i actually am named after someone. During the time i was born, according to my mother, there was a very famour artist named "Coney Frances," so they named me after her for no apparent reason, but instead of using the "Coney," they changed it to Honey since it sounded a lot nicer. Thus my name, Honey Frances. 

2. When was the last time you cried?
Hmmm. I can't cite the date of when i last cried, but I do cry all the time.

I think it is a good way of clearing out emotional stress.

3. Do you have kids?

No!

4.If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself?

Yes. I think i'll be a good, loyal to myself.

5. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

No. I'm not really a "funny" type of person.
I find sarcastic people annoying at times, so i don't do it to other people.

6. Will you ever bungee-jump?

I am an Aries and we are known for being adventurous but i think i would have to pass.

7. What's your favorite cereal?

I don't eat cereals often but if i must, i would have to choose coco crunch with a glass of fresh milk!

8. What's the first thing you notice about people?

I tend to be very judgmental about this matter because the first thing i notice is their physical appearance and i base my judgements on that. But once i really get to know a person, everything changes. 

9. What is your eye color?

Brown.

10. Scary movie or happy endings?

Happy endings, no doubt.

11. Favorite smells?

I'm not really into perfumes, colognes and stuff so i can't name one in particular that i like best, but if i'd go to a perfume shop, i'll go for a decent natural smell, not the overpowering smell like the ones from Victoria's Secret, if you know what i mean.

12.  Summer or Winter?

I love the cold weather but we don't really have winter here in the Philippines,
so i would go for the summer season.

13.  Computer of television?

Definitely a computer with a fast internet connection! 

14. What's the furthest you've ever been from home?

Not that far.

15. Do you have any special talents?

I had been a member of a major theatre organization when i was in college and performed some of the major roles durning plays so i'd have to say acting? but not impromptu acting though, 'cause i might freeze instead. i hope that counts. haha!

16.  Where were you born?

Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Philippines.

17. What are your hobbies?

Surfing the internet and i also do watch wrestling continually,
specifically WWE.

18. Do you have any pets?

Yes, a dog. His name is Pitchie and he's a pomeranian!

19.  Favorite movie?

I have to many to mention but you already know that i'd prefer a happy ending than a scary movie so i guess you already have an idea.

20. Do you have any siblings?

Yes, a younger sister.

21. What do you want to be when you grow up?

Simple, I want to be healthy and happy.

VOV Castledew Diacut Lips Swatches - Modest Beauty

Today, I will do swatches of the

VOV Castledew Diacut Lips

I got this palette from the online cosmetic shop getitmakeover,com,
but when i checked their page recently, it's not anymore there.

Anyway, this is the
901 Planet Crystal shade.

It retails for about php800-900.

(packaging looks adorable, castle-like design)

(actual shades on the palette)

It has a variety of pink, coral, orange and deep red shades.

from left to right:

So Hot Pink, Tender Pink, Acid Beige, So Hot Rose, Platinum Pink, Tender Brown, Sparkle Pink, Sparkle Violet, Starry Red

I swatched the shades 2 to 4 times just for the colors to show up in the photo, especially the shades' Sparkle Pink and Sparkle Violet.

Etude House Lucid Darling Gradiation Eyes (Miss Tangerine) Review - Modest Beauty

Today's post is all about

Etude House

 Lucid Darling Gradation Eyes Palette Miss Tangerine #7 

Right after the Miss Tangerine Line of cosmetics were released by Etude, 

I immediately purchased one for myself.

I got the palette along with some other products, 

and this eyeshadow is actually the first baked-type eyeshadow i have ever tried!

I really had a good first times with this product.

First cream eyeshadow i have tried.

First Korean cosmetic brand i have tried.

First black eyeshadow i have tried.

So see? A lot of first times! :)

Here are the swatches:

I really loved how they named it "Miss Tangerine."  

It really sounds chic and catchy to me

and it really drove me to buy a lot from its line.

Pros:

baked type

pigmented, shimmery colors

radiant and sheer

the eyeshadows feel very soft/smooth

blends very well

it comes with a cream eyeshadow

comes with an applicator tip and an eyeshadow brush

lots of colors/palettes to choose from

all in one palette (base, main color, contour and highlighter)

it comes with an illustration on how to use it at the back of the case

affordable

Cons:

has fall outs

it's pigmented, but when it is applied, it looses it's pigmentation

very glittery at times

average wear (without a primer)

Where i bought:

Etude House Sm Cebu Branch 

Price: approximately php600.00

I must say that i have had this eyeshadow for the longest time
and i really have a good relationship with this product.
I always carry it with me where ever i go. 

It is not one of those superb type of eyeshadows but i still love it.

It's a little more than average if i'm to rate it.

I'm not really a huge fan of the color orange but this palette got me wearing tangerine shades on a daily basis at a point in my life :)

I always prefer using this during day time where the colors show up the most.

About its price, I think it's a little expensive than it's worth/quality. 

If you are looking for a starter type of eyeshadow to use on a daily basis, 

then i would highly recommend buying this one.

I got this product from a Korean Cosmetic Online Shop named getitmakeover but sadly, they are not anymore operating as of the moment.
This palette retails about php 800 to 900.

VOV is a Korean Cosmetic Brand and the Castledew Diacut Eyes

in Planet Diamond is a nine-colored palette with a variety of sheer, pigmented colors.

it has shades of pink, coral, bronze and plum from light to dark colors

Closer Look on the shades:

Pros:
sophisticated and eye-catchy packaging
baked eyeshadow
last long even without a primer
easily transfers to the eyelids
the colors are pigmented
it's light and slim, good to take when traveling
highly wearable on a daily basis
sheer/shimmery colors
easy to blend with other eyeshadows
variety from light to dark shades
pearl effect
it comes with 2 tip applicators
no fall outs
high quality
names of the shades are very unique

Cons:
can only be purchased online
it can be a bit pricey (but it's worth its quality)
the first 3 shades are so alike to each other, i barely can tell the difference from the other, they should have come up with a more contrasting shade for variety

I would totally recommend this product!
